As Global Head of KPMG Sustainability Assurance services, Mr. Bartels has had a key role in advancing the industry’s sustainability agenda. He has worked with multinationals such Shell, Philips and BASF and closely collaborated with key organizations in the field, including the GRI and AccountAbility. Wim has co-authored an extensive number of thought leadership publications including the “KPMG International Survey of Corporate Responsibility Reporting 2008” and more recently ‘Integrated Reporting – closing the loop of strategy”.
