Delegation Information

United flags

Delegation registration is now closed. We are delighted to have Delegations from all over the world that registered over the past few months and will join us at the Third Global Conference on Sustainability and Transparency. There are Delegations coming from Abu Dhabi, Australia & New Zealand, Brazil, Egypt, India, Jordan, Turkey, and the Scandinavian Countries. Given the success of this initiative to encourage groups of individuals to come to the conference together, it is very likely that we will continue working with this approach in the future.

The Amsterdam Global Conference on Transparency for Sustainability 2010 welcomes delegations from all over the world. The biggest advantage of a delegation is the visibility that your group, its individual delegates, and the country or region you represent, can achieve during the conference.

Attending the conference as a delegation provides an opportunity to network with other organizations, showcase the main achievements in the field of corporate responsibility in your region, to highlight the advantages of doing business in your region, and enhance the profile of all the organizations within your delegation. The suite of benefits GRI offers to delegations makes the GRI Conference the perfect event to reach your delegations goals and objectives. In addition, the GRI staff have extensive experience working with international delegations and is ready to help you by providing personalized, tailored assistance.

What is a delegation?

A delegation is a group of 11 people or more (10 delegates, plus one delegation leader) from a specific country or region that registers for the 2010 conference as a group.

  • A group of participants from a particular region will only be considered a delegation if they register as a group. Other participants from the same country as a delegation are not considered part of the delegation unless they have registered for the conference via the ‘delegation registration form’.
  • A group with fewer than 11 participants is not eligible to register as a delegation. It is the task of the delegation leader to find enough participating members.
  • A delegation can represent a country (e.g. the Netherlands) or a region (e.g. Middle East). By ‘regions’ GRI means transnational geographic areas, or an area defined by a common language, history, or religion.

What is the role of the delegation leader?

A delegation leader is a representative of an organization who is responsible for bringing together a delegation in a certain country or region. The delegation leader will be the contact point for GRI. The delegation leader will receive free registration to the conference.
